Skate & Solidarity

A few months back we shipped 8 boxes worth of sneakers to the local skate community in Uganda. Thanks to our man Andy for allowing us to get involved with his mission. When you buy one of these shirts you will be directly supporting the dreams & programing of the Ugandan Skateboard Union. Amidst a war- torn landscape, the union, founded by Jackson Miribu, provides youth healthy alternatives to daily Ugandan struggle through skateboarding. In a country torn by two decades of civil conflict where children make up a large section of the casualties, these kids are building a tangible alternative as well as a social center were orphans, and members of opposing tribes can come together over skating. In future months the union hopes to expand their park & to build an adjacent school & social center your purchase will allow them to do that. Learn more at here. DROP THE BASS...

For the last few months we've been keeping quiet, doing a little wok in the lab and working on a few treats that include a music & sound system set up that is now up and running in Huntington. For those of you that were around back in '94, you know that Sauce hosted a series of DJ in-store jams that included our own record shop in Bayshore. Working in conjunction with our Red Bull family (our utmost thanks and love) we're going to be filling this summer season with a not to be missed schedule that will include DJ workshops, unplugged guest performances and vinyl swap (yes you heard that correctly).
