So here's a brief background check for your reading pleasure.
Also being dubbed the "Shanghai", the latest release from Nike SB is the latest collaboration with Brandon Cheng and Brian Cheng and their brand Triumvir. The Mid was inspired by a Beijing natives perspective of their own city. The design and concept of the shoe details the cities congested highways, traffic, dust, love for noodles, Tienanmen Square, and the capital of China.

ARBITO x DANNY KASS PSYCHEDELIA FOR NIKE SNOWBOARDING

This just in...

Seattle, Washington-based artist Arbito, has teamed up with pro snowboard rider Danny Kass and Nike SB to release a viral video trailer and the anticipated Zoom Force 1 (DK-YS) pack. Known for his 1970's pop infused imagery, Arbito has lent his illustrative vision to produce the psychedelic design inspired and tribute to "Sgt. Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band", on the DK-YS dual tongue boots to ensure ground clearance for snowboard pants when not riding. Included in the collection also is an all over print light weight hoodie and t-shirts available in both black and white adorned with the signature graphic design. Peep the trip below.

They are finally here. Being deemed the "TWIN PEAKS" PREMIUM HIGHS, the dunk pays tribute to the short lived Twin Peaks cult TV program which aired on ABC from 1990-1991 by creator and producer David Lynch. Inspired by the show’s ficticious "Black Lodge", the dunk features premium leather, suede, nubuck, and a synthetic upper. The clear rubber sole symbolizes the mysterious murder of the shows character Laura Palmer, wrapped and found in plastic, while the blue owl signifies the entrance to the Black Lodges paranormal dimension of good and evil. The interior is lined in red with a zig-zag pattern insole representing the "Red Rooms" curtains and geometric carpet. For additional information visit Rawthentix.

RedBull "SNOWSCRAPERS"

Red Bull will be creating an over the top 90-foot structure with the help of Frank Wells and Mike Bettera of Snow Park Technology. The nine story building drop will allow premier riders to style over a strategically constructed kicker toward an 80-foot long hip. The creative ramp design will allow spectators the opportunity to experience the action up close and personal. The winner will ultimately be rewarded with a $50,000 cash prize. Snowboarders including Shaun White, Travis Rice, Pat Moore and others to be announced shortly. Stay tuned as we will be reporting more information before and after the drop.
